Meaning the Ploughman, Le Laboureur has out grown its original intentions to provide the farmers of burgundy with high quality traditional work wear. Today, using the same techniques and materials has made it a favourite at GTE.
One of which is All Blues Co, based in Leeds and if you haven’t checked it out, I urge you to do so. Established this year it has made waves as a traditional fashion outlet, so much so they have collaborated with Le Laboureur. Producing none other than their classic work jacket. Styled in a Flecktarn camouflage colour way, using the same French materials and production as they would in the 1950s, keeping true to their ‘Made in France’ ways.
This was a special piece for the store as there has only been 50 produced worldwide, making it an extremely lucrative garment. Especially with the exposure the brand and store have been getting. If you are interested in the jacket (priced at £95) or any other Le Laboureur jacket head over to the store itself located in the Corn Exchange building in Leeds or by checking out their Instagram or Facebook (linked below). The guys running All Blues are great and wont hesitate to help you with anything you need, along side brands such as Champion, Gung-Ho and Red Wing Shoes. I for one am looking forward to what they have to offer in the future.
