The wait is over. Manastash Autumn/Winter 2015 collection is here and ready to buy. For those of you who don’t know much about Manastash, it is an outdoor brand, centralised around producing the best clothing for whatever the weather has to offer. Their clothing range is produced using eco friendly and durable Japanese fabrics such as hemp, recycled fleeces and Pertex. The brand took it’s first steps in 1993 in the vast countryside of Seattle, America, way back when there was a new surge for outdoor activities and the demand for functional clothing was growing fast.
Now, 22 years on, Manastash is now actually based in Japan. The company brings us their most modern designs but still remaining true to the original ideas. The AW15 lookbook is photographed in Devon and really shows off the landscape, contrasting really well with the new garments. The collection includes many of the high and low technical pieces including, fleece jackets, ‘puffa’ vests and 1940’s American workwear shirts. The brand is what some people may call, ‘hikerdelic’, with it’s functionality and durability in juxtaposition with the psychedelic colours of the garments. Manastash, is truly massive in the Asian market, yet there are very limited stockists over here in the UK – so be quick!
