I’ve liked Battenwear ever since they started out as Batten Sportswear. The master behind the brand is Shinya Hasegawa, previously mentored by Daiki Suzuki when they both worked for Woolrich Woolen Mills.

I remember being impressed by Battenwear’s first season shell parkas in vivid orange and blue and and wondering where these guys appeared from. Well true to form, our Shinya has treated us all to their latest instalment of winter warmers better known as the cargo coat in two different materials.

The green cargo is made out of a military reverse sateen and is the best out of the two in my eyes. The blue cargo jacket is made out of heavyweight 10oz duck canvas. Both will keep you from feeling nippy and make you cool as ****.
Feast your eyes and have a look.
