I’m a big fan of the grey sweatshirt, everything about it is just perfect. I’d go as far to say that it’s a design classic. There’s not many days that I don’t wear one, pairing one up with some dark denim jeans, white t-shirt and a pair of white 1970’s Chuck Taylors, and you’ve got pretty much my basic day to day rig out. Got them all from cheap GAP basic ones to the proper mint Manchester based Good Measure ones.
Anyway, it’s always alright to come across a new company who make a grey sweater. So when a mate put up a link to Archival Clothing on Instagram the other month and I saw they did one, I was pretty happy. They’re made in the USA as well, and y’know how much we’re fans of American made gear. It’s got everything you want from a grey sweatshirt as well, it’s grey and has one of those little stitched V’s that they all have (don’t have a clue what they’re for but I wouldn’t have one without them)
They do a load of other products as well, hoodies if you wanna dress like a that guy who did the gun fingers behind David Cameron but get loads more Instagram likes than he would do. Also, bags loads of them, including musettes if you’re in the mood for having one after watching the Tour De France, you won’t look as cool as Eddie Merckx though, ever.
